We have all heard the saying “practice what you preach”.  I believe this is imperative when your work is helping to heal others.  I feel that to be able to help others you have to work on yourself so that you can be at your best.  I can’t be distracted by worries and stress during a session as I feel that it interrupts the flow of energy.  I also want to be in a positive frame of mind as not to taint any energy that is channelled through me to you.  To be able to achieve this during a healing session, I self-heal using energy healing in my day to day life.

I take the time for selfcare.  I use skills that I have acquired from my life coach training, I meditate and I use a self-healing technique from my energy healing training.  This ensures that I am coming from a place of inner peace, inner calm and inner patience when I come to the table to help you with an energy healing.

The process is similar to that of an energy healing session.  Instead of hovering my hands, I place my hands on each chakra, allowing the energy to clear any blockages and travel through my body.  I can feel the energy flowing into my body, just as you would during a session.  I listen to music similar to what I play during an energy healing session.  I usually do my self-healing sessions at the end of the day; it is a nice way to close the day before going to sleep.  Similar to you, I find the experience relaxing so it’s the perfect time to do it.

Unless I am going through an integration period, I self-heal a few times a week.  I go with what feels right, similar to what I advise you after a session.  You will know when you need another healing, it’s the same for me.  I do self-healings more often to what I would recommend to a client as it is part of my self-care routine, what was recommended by my eacher and it’s what feels right for me.

During an integration period when I am training and have been attuned to a new energy, I will use the self-healing technique on a daily basis for 21 days.  This helps the energy activation and is a recommendation from the Ashati institute.

 Since I have been completing self-healings I am definitely calmer, more relaxed and worry less.  I used to be a big worrier but find that things don’t stress me out as much as they used to.  Which is of great benefit to me as my autoimmune disease is triggered by stress.  Don’t get me wrong I still stress and worry and get a little cranky at times.  Hello 2020 has been one heck of a year and I am only human, but I am better equipped to help manager these feelings and find a way to bring back a level of calmness.  And that is my hope for you when you come to a session.
